Yao Chung (“Jason”) Liu was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, and graduated from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management with an Industrial Management degree in May 2022.
As an undergraduate at Purdue, Jason discovered his love for consulting and innovation when he joined the Scope Consulting Club which provides consulting services to local businesses. Working with outstanding teammates, he helped a local cafe house to improve inventory management by analyzing 3 years of sales data, predicting future sales, and recommending strategies for waste reduction and perishable goods utilization.
An entrepreneur at heart, Jason and his family started an online bakery business in Taiwan. During its first year, they shipped over 5,000 boxes of moon cake throughout the traditional holiday season–and they expect to double these sales this year after expanding their brand to more e-commerce platforms.
Ultimately, these experiences led him to enFocus as an Innovation Fellow, where he hopes to bring his data analysis, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship skills to the table on a diversity of projects that contribute to the South Bend-Elkhart Region.
